    Phillip Island is an Australian island located about 140km away from Melbourne,Victoria. Named after the first Governor of Victoria Arthur Phillip, Phillip Island forms a natural breakwater for the shallow waters of Western Port. The island area is approximately 10,000 hectares. It is 26 kilometres long and 9 kilometres at its widest. It has 97km of coastline and is part of the Bass Coast Shire.

    Surf beach, le temps n'etait pas fabuleux a notre arrivee, mais 4 coquillages et 2 cailloux plus tard, le soleil est apparu!!
    Superbe.

    index.php.jpgThe Koala Conservation Centre, une réserve pour une colonie de koalas importés du continent et qui maintenant prospèrent tranquillement dans leur foret d'eucalyptus.

    C'est la dernière population de pingouins nains résidant sur l'île, enfin ils viennent ici pour muer et se reproduire.
    Ils sont super tout petits, 30cm max !! Ils sont trop mignons avec leur démarche maladroite.
